Who made the investment?
Luke Eickmeier from Memphis, TN
Luke was at a career transition point. After nearly 10 years in the US Navy as an officer, Luke had reached a retirement point from his full-time Navy duties and was ready to move into civilian life.
Why was he looking for a franchise?
His experience with the Navy had given him all of the skills and ability to be ready to move straight into business ownership. But, as a first-time business owner, he appreciated the scaffolding that EC was able to provide, especially with regard to marketing for new clients.
What did he invest in?
A single location of EC in Memphis, TN.
EC is a boutique fitness company that focuses on providing high quality, personalized training services to a unique group of loyal clients.
Why did he choose that brand?
As we started our discussions, it became clear to me that Luke has a giant heart and wanted a business in which he could really help people to make their lives better.
Luke was interested in a business in which he could have the option to be a hands-on operator to start and then grow the business to multiple locations over time and become a more executive leader as time passed.
Luke fell in love with the differentiation of EC. He loved the proprietary equipment, high quality workout and serving a niche of customers who have been under-served in the fitness industry.
