Zak who is re-locating from Oxford, MS to Memphis, TN to start his business ownership career. Zak is retiring from his officer position in the US Navy as starting his career as a business owner. He has proven himself an excellent leader of men & women and is now ready to apply those skills to build a business for himself and his family.
Why was he looking for a franchise?
Zak has had a successful career in the US Navy. He earned a bachelor’s degree while in the US Navy ROTC program. Upon his graduation, Zak moved into an officer position in the Navy where he has served for most of the past decade.
Zak was rolling up on a decision point in his career. Re-enlist for another stint in the Navy or take the exit ramp to move into civilian life now. He chose the career change route and was firmly committed to working for himself and owning his own business NOW instead of later! Zak was seeking the independence and self-determination that flows to business owners.
What did he invest in?
Zak decided to tag team a business with his dad, Keith, and they are rolling now toward a start in Restoration 1, a leading disaster restoration company. After evaluating multiple markets, they decided to open their business in Memphis, TN which is Zak’s hometown and gives them a leg up on marketing and networking in a community that they know.
Why did he choose this brand?
For Zak, this was a combination of low investment, high margins and recession resistance. Tough to beat that combination!
