First 90 Days Steep Learning Curve

A new venture is exciting, but it’s a fast and steep learning curve filled with the unknown and often lots of fear.

What I think is fascinating about that process is very quickly you build your skillset. You know a limited amount about your team, staff members, etc. But quickly, your knowledge skyrockets.

What’s important to remember during that time is to stay humble. Realize everyone around you – employees, customers, vendors – well, they’re going to know more than you. There’s no shame in that. Allow them to teach you. Ask questions. Soak in information. It shows that you want to be a learner.

Starting today? Congratulations. Be patient, be humble, and it’s all worth it.
